The choice of meal was disappointing, the Meat was chewy and flavourless and I wished I couldn’t taste the rest. I ate enough to stop myself feeling hungry but not to much so I could avoid regurgitating what I had eaten.
I was tired and so decided that I would catch the tram to the terminus. I Climbed on board and fell asleep, I slept all the way to the terminus and then back to central. I woke as we pulled into central station and found a small boy starring at me with some fascination.
I caught the tram back to the powerhouse museum and walked up the stairs to the street and then down the street till I reached the powerhouse museum. The Harry potter exhibition was open and the majority of people were there to view the exhibition. Some people had came dressed as their favourite harry potter characters. Once away from the ticket office and the queue for the exhibition the rest of the museum was very quite.
The architecture of the museum makes the perfect location for the Harry Potter exhibition, dark and gloomy with remnants of the powerhouse architecture, tall arched widows and areas of unpainted brick work.
THe main hall of the museum is dominated by two exhibits the car from the second film in the harry potter series ( the chamber of secrets) and an early steam train. One being part of the touring exhibition and the other being part of the permanent collection of steam exhibits
The powerhouse museum’s collection of antiquated technology is fascinating particularly The Boulton and Watt steam engine that looks like it should have been in the Harry potter movie
16:30 depart the museum
Went to supermarket returned to the hotel to have a meal of smoked salmon cucumber wholemeal bread and bananas and went to sleep woke at 23:30 hours and made a phone call and went back to sleep
